Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear on almost every first call

If your question isn't here, it's a good reason to book a free consultation. We'd rather answer it directly.

Our Programs

Absolutely. Our Everyday Growth Program is designed for children who are developing typically but struggle with attention, following instructions, screen habits, restlessness, eye-contact, shyness, anxiety or small conflicts. Most parents in this program simply want a calmer, more confident, more communicative child.

The Everyday Growth Program gives you curated ARULA video modules, insights on healthy parenting and 1:1 parent guidance sessions. The Complete Development Program is for children with a diagnosis or extra developmental needs. It includes the full ARULA video library, monthly 1:1 guidance sessions with a dedicated specialist and a structured home plan.

Take the free self-assessment. It asks about your child's age, any diagnosis, the concerns you see and the milestones they've reached, then recommends a program. You can also book a free consultation and we'll help you decide.

Our programs are built around children aged 2 to 8 years, the years when listening, language and social skills grow fastest. We also support teens and adults with speech and fluency concerns.

The ARULA Approach

Speech is only one part of communication. A good listener becomes a very good speaker, so we strengthen listening, attention, understanding and connection, which allow speech to grow naturally.

Traditional models often work directly on speech production in a clinic. ARULA works on listening, understanding, emotional regulation, interaction and functional communication, and coaches you, the parent, to become your child's own speech facilitator at home.

Children learn to communicate in everyday life, with the people they love. Parents receive structured guidance so learning happens all day (at meals, during play, at bedtime), not just in a session.

Yes. Better listening, understanding, gestures, social engagement and imitation often appear before spoken language, and we track all of these as meaningful progress.

Every child is different. Many parents notice changes in attention and listening within the first few weeks of consistent daily activities. ARULA focuses on lasting change rather than quick fixes.

Through milestone reviews, everyday functional outcomes and the 18 developmental parameters, always compared with your child's own starting point.

Getting Started

A free, 5-minute online check. You tell us your child's age, whether they have a diagnosis, and which everyday concerns you notice; then you mark which age-appropriate milestones they've reached. You get an instant summary of strengths, areas to nurture and a recommended program.

A 15–20 minute call where we listen to your concerns, ask a few questions, and tell you honestly which program (if any) makes sense, and which session mode (online, offline or hybrid) would suit you best.

Both. Our programs focus on children aged 2–8, and we also support teens and adults with stammering, clarity and communication confidence.

Yes. It's the heart of ARULA. We build 10–15 minute activities into routines you already have, so it never feels like an extra burden.
