Aarav's Story
“The world does more talking than listening. Aarav taught us to do both.”
Aarav was 3 when his parents reached out to ARULA, a full year behind expected speech milestones with fewer than ten recognisable words. Assessment showed strong understanding but very limited expressive output.
Over eight months of a hybrid program (twice-weekly in-clinic sessions and daily online check-ins), Aarav moved from single words to full sentences, and started initiating conversations at home unprompted.
He now attends mainstream school with no additional support required for communication, and his parents still send us the occasional voice note of a new sentence.
Kabir's Story
“I didn't need my stammer gone. I needed to stop planning my life around it.”
Kabir came to ARULA at 29, after avoiding phone calls and presentations for most of his career. He'd tried speech sessions as a child but stopped attending once school pressure eased.
Adult fluency coaching at ARULA focused less on eliminating every disfluency and more on building strategies he could use under real pressure: client calls, interviews, and public speaking.
A year later, Kabir led his first all-hands presentation at work. He still stammers sometimes. He no longer avoids the calls.
